As autumn ploughs on in the UK and our new cohorts get into full swing, this month, we’re excited to announce even more for our wider community to engage with, including free webinars and an exciting chance to attend our conference in London.
The London Dental Institute always planned to meet students face to face for their courses, and Dr. John and Dr. James (the LDI’s co-founders) always believed that in-person education was important. However, COVID-19 put a stop to that before the LDi was able to begin accepting new students. As the world pivoted online, it was inevitable that we did, too.
Now, it’s difficult to imagine the LDi as anything other than the leading online institute for dental education, but we still look forward to our annual conference and the chance to meet in person once again.

Module Spotlight: Smile Design
One of the most championed parts of dentistry has always been seeing the difference a smile can make to patients’ confidence. In fact, it’s likely that it’s this that made many of you first embark on a career in dentistry.
That’s why the Smile Design module in our Aesthetic and Restorative Diploma feels so relevant.
In this module, we explore what goes into crafting a smile that’s beautiful and truly personal to each patient. We examine smile aesthetics through webinars and practical videos, from tooth shape and colour to alignment and balance. We also look at Digital Smile Design techniques, which, as Dr. Hanan Elgendy explains below, help us plan precise treatments using the latest technology.
By the end, you have the tools to bring out each patient’s best smile—one that reflects their unique features and confidence.
